Small Quantity Generator Program
If your facility generates less than 55 lbs. of hazardous waste or less than 2.2 lbs. of acutely hazardous waste in any single calendar month, you can now safely and affordably dispose of these materials through the City of Lawrence/Douglas County Small Quantity Generator Program. COMPUTER AND ELECTRONIC RECYCLING
In Kansas, electronic equipment may be legally disposed of in a landfill, however it is strongly recommended that the item be donated or recycled due to hazardous materials associated with it. These hazardous components, which, if disposed of improperly can damage our health and the environment.
